The Triangulum Galaxy (M33) is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Triangulum and is one of the closest major galaxies to the Milky Way. At a distance of approximately 2.73 million light years, it is the third-largest member of the Local Group after the Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky Way. Its sprawling spiral arms contain numerous star-forming regions and young star clusters.
